Abstract
The cultural value of performative practices here investigated concerns the conception of habitus exposed by Pierre Bourdieu, the concept of ethos and its link with the practice developed in anthropologicalstudies of Clifford Geertz, that should be seen in relation to the ideas of Victor Turner about performative arts, with the aim to understand how the contemporary aesthetic practice can own a ritual function, giving social relevance to ethical aspects and collective problems. With a methodology of research – action, the investigation was concluded with two experimental pilot projects of cultural mediation: a collective and artistic practice that took the shape of a travelling performance (“Re Cervo” - Deer King) in Locarno rea, and an interactive blog (www. spass.supsi.ch) for the divulgation of the practices experienced.
