Abstract
This article is about some studies conducted in Ticino and Italy on proficiency testing system aimed at school: the Swiss ‘Prove Cantonali’ and the Italian ‘Prove Invalsi’ arranged in a crosswise giving. In particular, we analyze the differences and similarities of students’ results on these tests, taking into account the differences of the two education systems.
