This paper presents an architectural solution for multimedia delivering over heterogeneous smart phones tailored to the needs of individual users. The system is based on the collection of Wi-Fi fingerprints in an environment, and sends multimedia data to the users' smart phones based on their interests, their location and their movement. This solution belongs to a more global solution for a straightforward and cost-effective proximity marketing (PROMO) system that is highly customizable and works also in indoor environments.
