Abstract

In this paper a tomographic approach for the nondestructive evaulation (NDE) of wood trunks is presented. An experimental set up that allows multiview bistatic measurements of field-scattered samples is described. Preliminary reconstructions of the dielectric permittivity and of the electric conductivity are obtained under TM illumination. The inversion of measured data is performed by means of an Inexact-Newton method using a truncated Landweber method to a obtain regularized solution of the arising inverse scattering problem.
