Abstract
The COOLSIM simulation tool is devised for the simulation of office buildings heated with a heat pump coupled to a borehole field or energy piles, and cooled with these latter by geocooling. No hot water is covered by the system. The energy concept involves a heat pump directly coupled to active concrete plates or floor heating, which are also used for cooling. No cooling and dehumidification is simulated in the building ventilation system.
