Abstract
The purpose of this study is to highlight the implications of a dual process of evaluation and monitoring conducted on an project on social and emotional learning introduced in Italian speaking part of Switzerland. The research design refers to the framework of mixed methods. At the end of the first cycle of training, the evaluation and monitoring system has proved to be suitable and allowed researchers to make some adjustments to the project design, in order to prevent potential problems. The paper highlights some methodological problems related to a process with a double aim: evaluation and monitoring.
