This article proposes a theorisation to understand the relationship between solitude and politics. It elaborates on how this relationship is rooted in the concept of violence. Conceptually, the ontological question initially arises as to what is the place of solitude with respect to politics. Indeed, any situation of solitude must be correlated with the political space. This question underpins the need to investigate the relationship between solitude and the political and its nature.
