Abstract

This article theorises the creeping danger that terrorism poses for democracy inherent in the states’ political practices adopted to counter-terrorism and discusses the possible compatibility between such practices and democratic politics. It investigates the empirical case of Executive Orders 13769 and 13780 (Muslims or Travel Ban), issued by the US Presidency.
