Abstract
The article is an essay with an attached article on a project write by the architects. The two articles, in italian, have been published in the Archi magazine (edition 004 of August 2020), a Swiss magazine of architecture, engineering and urban planning. It is an essay with a project attached. The first article deals with the general issue of the rehabilitation of historic buildings and the added value of solar energy (BIPV), and presents several case studies in Switzerland covered by the activities of IEA EBC Annex 76 / IEA-SHC Task 59; a second in-depth article with a specific focus on a project already built in Ticino, a best-practice case study, documented by SUPSI in HiBER ATLAS database, the Castello di Doragno, where a contribution was requested from the DeltaZero SA architects. The magazine is published by espazium - Editions for the culture of construction, based in Zurich, It is a prestigious Ticino technical-scientific magazine, official magazine of the SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects and of the OTIA, Order of Engineers and Architects of Cantone Ticino) and is a reference point in the Swiss panorama of architecture magazines for designers, architects, engineers, institutions, actors and operators in the construction sector.
